Photo: Down To Earth by Daniel Soares
Daniel Soares, a young Art Director, built a body of photos called "Down To Earth". In these photos he positions the camera near or on the ground. The perspective is the first noticeable aspect of these photos. It creates a narrative that is, at first, different from most photos.
In many of these photos Soares uses a shallow depth of field (blurrier focus) to further accentuate the angle of the photos. Sometimes it's done very obviously and other times it's done very subtly. What this does is drive in the point that the angle is a different
